On behalf of a prestigious client, we are supporting the search for an International Payroll Specialist to join its global HR function.

This role represents a key hire within an evolving payroll structure, offering the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of a global payroll platform and to progressively take ownership of multi-country payroll operations.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will initially oversee payroll activities for several smaller international entities and will gradually assume broader international payroll responsibilities as the organization transitions to a centralized global payroll platform managed from Switzerland.

This is a strategic position within a dynamic and international environment, ideal for a payroll professional with multi-country experience who is motivated to grow into a wider global remit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for selected international entities (particularly Middle East and central-northern Europe);
• Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance and timely execution in accordance with local regulations;
• Coordinate with local HR and Finance;
• Support the implementation and transition to a global payroll platform;
• Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Ensure proper documentation, controls and audit readiness;
• Act as a key point of contact for payroll-related matters across assigned jurisdictions;
• Over time, the role is expected to expand in scope, with increasing involvement in broader international payroll oversight.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in multi-country payroll management;
• Strong knowledge of international payroll processes and compliance requirements;
• Experience working with payroll platforms;
• Structured, detail-oriented and highly reliable;
• Comfortable working in a regulated and international environment;
• Fluent in English Italian and French languages will be considered more than asset);
• Based in Switzerland (Ticino) or willing to relocate.
