On behalf of our esteemed Customer we are recruiting the following profile:
Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers focused on API testing and automation.
• Design and implement robust test strategies for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, and DevOps teams to define quality standards and testing best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks
• Monitor test results, identify issues early, and ensure timely resolutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and metrics.
• Ensure all APIs meet performance, scalability, and security requirements before release.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledges and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role, ideally gained in an API producing pharmaceutical / CDMO company
• Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (JUnit, PyTest, or similar).
• Knowledge of API design principles, HTTP, JSON, and web services.
• High carefulness and accuracy in the way of working, conscientiousness and detail-orientation, strong ability to systematically gather and analyze data.
• Detail-oriented mindset and a passion for quality and reliability.
• Fluent in English and German.
