We are currently recruiting for a leading international retail company, looking for a BACK OFFICE LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (German Speaker) to support end-to-end operational processes across multiple European markets. Based in the Root D4, this is a hands-on, multi-country role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and vendor-management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and track the full order-to-delivery flow, ensuring accurate and timely movement of goods from brand partners to warehouse and to final retail destinations.
- Coordinate daily operations with logistics providers, print houses, warehouses, and regulatory specialists to ensure service quality and adherence to timelines.
- Create and manage purchase orders, monitor approvals, and maintain all related procurement and vendor documentation.
- Act as main contact for external vendors, managing deadlines, service levels, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare periodic operational and regulatory reports for internal stakeholders and relevant external partners.
- Support general office processes including billing, invoice tracking, and supply management.
- Collaborate closely with logistics and store operations teams to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient replenishment, and proper allocation of marketing and operational materials to stores.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, vendor management, or back-office operations within retail, FMCG, or similar environments.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with operational workflows.
- Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
- Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working across countries and time zones.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Germany.
