{"id":12005,"date":"2024-01-09T10:40:14","date_gmt":"2024-01-09T09:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sidler-sa.ch\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=12005"},"modified":"2024-02-09T00:42:57","modified_gmt":"2024-02-08T23:42:57","slug":"trims-and-product-accessories-rd-english-fluent-luxury-brand-milan","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/sidler-sa.ch\/it?post_type=job_listing&p=12005","title":{"rendered":"Trims And Product Accessories R&amp;D (English Fluent)\/ Luxury Brand \/ Milan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"jd-section-employer\">\n<div class=\"jd-description-text\">\n<p>SIDLER SA &#8211; on behalf of our Important Luxury Brand &#8211; we are looking for a:<\/p>\n<p><b>Trims And Product Accessories R&amp;D (English Fluent)\/ Luxury Brand \/ Milan<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The resource will manage all scouting\/development\/sourcing activities of TRIMS in order to ensure product alignment, quality, cost and development requested by Design team and Product Development teams.<\/p>\n<p><b>Main Activities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop fabrics proto in terms of quality and design, based on Designers\u2019 moodboards and requests<\/li>\n<li>Work on multiple collections, seasons and special projects simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Manage the sms trim chart of the collection in term of delivery\/cost<\/li>\n<li>Finalize Trims Specification Sheet and cost based on company target<\/li>\n<li>Maintain company system about Trims<\/li>\n<li>Manage any quality issue for SMS and bulk productions<\/li>\n<li>Support quality control at third parties laboratories<\/li>\n<li>Daily contact to receive and comment all protos received from mills<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate SMS and Bulk production costs<\/li>\n<li>Cross costing among all mills in order to meet company targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills and Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education preferably in textiles, fashion or design<\/li>\n<li>Significant previous experience (minimum 5 years) in the same role and field (R&amp;D in Fashion Companies)<\/li>\n<li>english fluent<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in trims, fabric and apparel product development<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical understanding of fabrics\/trims construction and up to date on seasonal fabrics\/trims trends<\/li>\n<li>Critical Thinker, rigorous and well organized<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong management and problem-solving skills, in addition to excellent marketing sense<\/li>\n<li>Good judgment, proven responsibility and strong analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Capability to work under strict, short deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Working on cross-functional and multi-national teams<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers.<\/li>\n<li>Travel availability<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English.
