TEST ENGINEER / LUGANO AREA

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the design of solutions starting from requirements;

• Support identifying building blocks for the designed solution;

• Support developments where new products are needed;

• Integrate mechanical / electrical / software elements;

• Coordinate and manage tasks around demo, trials, on customer premises installations;

• Design and execute tests to validate the design, validate modifications to existing products;

• Build proof of concepts or small productions;

• Investigate on quality issues and non-conformities;

• Support Product management and if needed talk directly with customers on their needs.

Requirements:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technician, or equivalent;

• Minimum 2 years of proven working experience in field applications or system testing;

• Must be fluent in English – both written and spoken;

• Good understanding of complex electromechanical systems;

• Good knowledge and experience on system testing principles and their execution;

• Hands-on experience on electronic boards (soldering, probing, schematic understanding);

• Experience in high level software development is a plus;

• Good communication skills, team player, pro-active, experience in leading projects;

• Experience on RFID protocols and especially UHF is a plus.
