SITE COST CONTROLLER / GENEVA
Role Description
The candidate will work alongside the Project Manager throughout the entire project development. They will be responsible for managing the project’s budget and providing monthly reports to track the project’s progress.
Main responsibilities:
- Regularly produce cost/revenue reports for the project, adhering to deadlines set by the parent company;
- Prepare monthly cost/revenue management reports to identify any issues, errors, trends, and risks to be reported to senior management;
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan long-term costs/revenues and define the project budget;
- Define the scope of responsibility to prepare the monthly controlling reports;
- Identify and highlight any risks/opportunities within the project in their reports;
- Collaborate and support the administrative and financial departments in financial planning.
Requirements and Skills:
- Degree in Management Engineering or Civil Engineering;
- At least 3 years of experience as a Site Cost Controller or similar role;
- Work experience in the construction and infrastructure sector, particularly with a General Contractor;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employers, colleagues, project team consultants, and contractors/suppliers;
- Proficiency in data analysis and management tools;
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports for senior management;
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Advanced knowledge of English (French and Italian are optional).
