Main responsibilities:

  • Design the product to meet specified requirements, with a focus on maximizing functionality, durability, manufacturability (using DFM and DFA principles), cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Throughout the development phase, the candidate will assist the team leader in project advancement, engaging with various stakeholders—product management, quality, production, supply chain, and purchasing—to ensure all product aspects are thoroughly addressed.
  • The candidate will collaborate with the team lead by reporting on progress through presentations and meeting minutes, ensuring adherence to the project schedule.
    For product improvement and innovation, the candidate will work to enhance existing products across multiple dimensions, including cost reduction, feature enhancement, and quality improvements. Alongside the Product Management team, they will also explore new product ideas and propose innovative solutions.
  • During product development, the candidate will conduct testing activities and characterization to ensure compliance with requirements, documenting these activities with official test reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Biomedical or Materials Engineering.
    Fluency in English (at least B2).
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in product design, development, and industrialization.
  • Experience in designing, characterizing, and testing plastic products.
    Proeficent in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Background in injection molding. Expertise in overmolding and insert molding are considered a plus.
  • Proactive attitude toward project tasks and problem-solving.
  • Effective communicator, capable of collaborating well with team members and stakeholders.

Availability for business trips abroad is required.
